HIRES?

Have a weird butterfly in your stomach before an interview?

Well, you are just one of many. Since 2013 we have had similar feelings every time, we speak to a new candidate for a position in Norliga.
We always do our utmost to find the right people to join our family, whether that is a new developer, a UX wizard, Marketing genius or Account Executive.

 

We hire in a unique way – we try to be not as formal and straight forward as possible. Hopefully, those butterflies will fly away for both parties.

We are proud to say that almost all our earliest hires are still here. While naturally a handful have left to pursue their own adventure.

 

If working with great people for many years has taught us anything, it is that transparency goes a long way in making new signings to team Norliga. So, we love to lay out what you can anticipate if you spot a job that looks cool and want to apply.

We get and often unsolicited applications, which is great, of course, but means we need to do a bit of homework before deciding who stands out.

The First Call

So, we start off by running through profiles on our end and pick those who we feel would be a good fit for a quick call. On this call, you will usually speak with the team leader who is looking for a recruit.

Hopefully, this is a chance to create a great first impression on both sides. We will chat about any relevant skills and experiences that you have and why you are interested in joining our family.

On your side, you will hear more about Norliga and see if we are a good match for you. You are more than welcome to ask any questions that you like.

First Check-in

If you had your kick-off call with someone from our team or hiring staff, do not be surprised if you are invited in for a quick get-to-know with the company’s founder. It will give you a chance to ask more team and responsibility-specific questions with your future boss.

You could also be wedged in a team interview with the team leader and some others from the same team or part of company where you will be working. We are very practical orientated company, so most of the talking will be on that level.
