Establishment in 2012 to provide automation and vision solutions for the processing industry. In the beginning it was mostly for the fishing industry but was later on expanded to other processing within the food sector.
The vision part really took off in 2013 and played a big role in the automation, specially the robotic part became heavily dependent on on our internal vision solutions.
Norliga sold its vision technology division for the processing industry to Arenco in Sweden, a company owned by Amymone. Following this transition, Norliga shifted its focus towards Industrial IoT and large-scale data management, evolving from primarily delivering on-premises solutions to becoming more platform-oriented.
As Norliga’s activities expanded, Norliga Development was founded as a subsidiary in Skopje, Macedonia, with a focus on financial technologies and large-scale data analytics, alongside the ongoing development of our Industrial IoT platforms. Significant research and development efforts were also dedicated to mobile technologies, as most of our services transitioned to a mobile-first approach to better serve our users.
The initial version of Norliga’s Case Management System was launched, originally designed to manage relationships between power companies and electricians. For several years, this remained the primary focus, but the system has since evolved into a versatile solution that can be adapted to various industries and use cases. A comprehensive upgrade of the platform is anticipated to be released in the second quarter of 2025, which has a universal approach for all industries.
